Lawn Sprinklers

Keeping your lawns hydrated during the spring, summer and fall months is very important. We at Twin Oaks Landscaping recommend installing a lawn sprinkler system for your residential, commercial or recreational property. There are many types of irrigation systems for lawns on the market today and our professional irrigation contractors can help you choose the right type of sprinkler system for your lawns. Lawn sprinklers come in a variety of pressure selections, as well as for various ground coverage options. Our team can assess how often you need your lawns watered depending on your location, climate, season and soil type.

There are four main types of lawn irrigation systems; spray systems, flood systems, rotary systems and micro irrigation systems.

Spray Systems

This type of irrigation system is a very popular residential sprinkler system and best used for smaller lawn areas. This system sprays water in a continuous stream from zero to fifteen feet. The only disadvantage is that it can be affected by high winds and the spray may stray from its target areas.

Flood Systems

Jet systems, bed sprays and bubblers are all types of flood systems. These types of sprinklers are those that irrigate low to the ground. Depending on the soil type on your property this system works well for plants such as roses.

Rotary Systems

This sprinkler system is mostly used for larger lawn areas such as athletic fields. These systems spray a continuous stream of water from zero to a hundred feet. The rotary system produces less water than a spray system.

Micro–Irrigation

All types of irrigation systems that generate low volumes of water are usually called micro-irrigation systems such as drip, trickle and some spray heads. These are ideal for small areas of delicate plants and flowers. Water trickles from tubing that is placed close to the plant root so as to never touch the plant leaves.

Twin Oaks Landscaping will go that extra mile for our clients and aim for 100% customer satisfaction. So don’t drag the hose around your property let us install a professional irrigation system for your lawns and gardens. You will save time, money and water. A lawn sprinkler system will provide your lawns, landscapes and gardens with just the right amount of water without you even having to worry about it, its all done automatically!
